As a part of the Brisbane Improv Festival, Edge Improv is very excited to present a new show of the crowd favourite Hard Boiled Dick!
From Blade Runner to True Detective, Film Noir remains a power cultural touchstone, and ripe for making fun of! As part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival in May, Hard Boiled Dick brings back the classic detective noir movies of the golden age of Hollywood with a twist.
There are only two actors in the show - one plays the grizzled detective, and the other plays every other character! And for an added level of difficulty, they don't know who will be doing what until the show starts.
The two performers (Chris Milne and Brad Daniels) are supported by a live three piece jazz band, ”The Accomplices” who provide all the live music (and a song or two) for the show - featuring Mark Grimes, Reuben Nielsen and Rikki Strachen!
